Main Quest

When you meet someone, you'll often say, "What do you do for work?". This is often seen as a bad question to ask, but I don't think it is that bad of a question to ask, because it reveals a lot about values, about interest, about a lot of things.

There is no doubt that your career and the time you spend on work will take up the majority of your waking time alive as an adult. Of course it makes sense that work is an important part of life. Why would you want the majority of the time that you spend to be on something that you don't really care about.

To say work does not matter is to say that time does not matter. What an insane proposition.
