I first picked up a DSLR on an internship in Japan in 2023.

I think I take photos because I want to preserve moments in time. I want to remember the spirit and essence of a place. With a camera, you can be both historian and artist.
But photography is different from most art because the artist isn't actively creating the piece themselves so much as discovering it.
All that matters is knowing where to look!
I currently use a Sony A6700 with a Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 lens.
