Seems like a very consequential decision to make. What should you prioritize? Being close to work? To friends? To a good neighbourhood?

What matters to you?

Every choice is an expression of values but this is a major one.

I think I'd probably pick being with good roommates and being around good friends.

Other things are secondary. Maybe you shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to get to work.

In SF, on a bike that's like the entire main part of the city.
